ARTIST CRIT – participating artists invite tutors and all London art
university students to discuss works on show, 3-5pm
UK universities like to portray themselves as neutral, apolitical institutions. But from ties to the ‘defence’ sector and British intelligence, to attacks on free speech and pro-Palestine voices, it’s clear that the university bosses are servants of imperialism.
With the cost of living soaring, a decent social life or a carefree existence have become a pipedream for many young people. As a result, the hospitality sector is being hit hard, and the ‘loneliness epidemic’ is intensifying.
In his latest bid to become even more hated by young people, Starmer has hiked tuition fees to a record level. Labour is drowning students in debt to protect universities’ bottom-lines. We say: Down with this austerity government! Free education for all!
