A recent damning report has confirmed that Starmer’s Labour lies.
In September 2024, stressing the importance of restraint and de-escalation, David Lammy told Parliament that the UK would only supply “defensive” equipment to Israel. This followed a government suspension of 30 licences for offensive arms and equipment being used in Gaza.
A new report – published by the Palestinian Youth Movement, the Progressive International, and Workers for a Free Palestine – exposes these claims about suspending arms exports to Israel to be a complete facade, revealing the hypocrisy of Lammy and his cries for peace.
The report, which cites Israeli import data, found that Britain has shipped over 160,000 military items to Israel since October 2023, including thousands of munitions, arms, and aircraft parts.
Crucially, 8,630 of those munitions were shipped after the UK supposedly suspended arms licences last September.
Lammy and Starmer loudly announced a ban on parts for F-35 fighter jets that have been raining hell on Gaza. Yet the report shows that shipments of aircraft components have not slowed down.
This confirms what we’ve always known: like the Tories before them, this Labour government is complicit in the slaughter of thousands of Palestinians.
All the while, David Lammy has told barefaced lies to sustain Britain’s image as a peacemaker.
Recently, the Foreign Office – under Lammy’s leadership – announced new sanctions on Russia’s oil fleet. Via a post on social media, the Foreign Secretary boasted that the UK has applied more sanctions to Russian ships than any other nation, asserting that this “strength” is the only way to achieve a “just and lasting peace” in Ukraine.
Lammy has also called for a peaceful end to the conflict in Palestine, critiquing Israel’s attacks on hospitals in Gaza and championing diplomacy over bloodshed. Yet at the same time, he has continued to ensure the supply of weapons that make such atrocities possible.
This serpentine behaviour should not come as a surprise. After all, this is the same man who once denounced Trump as a “woman-hating, neo-Nazi-sympathising sociopath”, but now praises him as “someone that we can build a relationship with in our national interest.”
Lammy, Starmer, and the rest of their cronies will continue to weasel their way through power. They will continue making false promises to deflect mass anger. And they will align with whoever they must to defend the interests of British imperialism.
To achieve genuine peace, we must overthrow the warmongers, the billionaire class, and the rotten Labour leaders who serve them.
British Special Forces murdered civilians and children in Afghanistan
Joe Russell
Ex-soldiers from the SAS have confirmed that British Special Forces in Afghanistan were murdering civilians and children. After handcuffing detainees, they would shoot them, plant weapons on them, and remove the handcuffs.

The source insists this was standard practice, not isolated incidents: “Everyone knew. There was implicit approval…”
‘Everyone’, in this case, means right up the chain of command.
Falsified paperwork would avoid official investigations. But Afghan officials were aware, and the Afghan president, Hamid Karzai, repeatedly informed prime minister David Cameron
Cameron should absolutely be held accountable. But this type of violence is more than individual negligence. The British state is a ruthless machine for imperialist domination.
There is a selection process for the Special Forces that only 10 percent pass. This demands unquestioning loyalty and ruthlessness – a psychopath’s paradise.
The idea that imperialism’s brutality has been ended by ‘modernising reforms’ is a fantasy. The charade of the ‘rules-based order’ is nothing but a spider’s web: the small get caught, while the powerful rip right through it. Real justice is never served.
They assure us that they only wage ‘ethical’ war. When a regime resists the imperialists, they then point to some violation of ‘international law’ to justify violent intervention.
This facade has been crumbling for some time. The horrors of Gaza have shattered it. It is clear to millions how little human life matters compared to power and profit.
The Special Forces scandal, although shocking to some, will come as no surprise to most.
