The establishment press have gone into overdrive over the Golders Green stabbing, which happened on 29 April.
No motives have been released, the perpetrator has no known ties with any terrorist organisations, but this hasn’t stopped the Prime Minister or the papers from linking this attack to Iran, the Green Party, and the Palestine movement as a whole.
What do we know about the perpetrator, Essa Suleiman? Very little. Only that he has a history of mental illness, and that he was living in assisted care for his mental health. Coincidentally, we know that same care was cut off a week before the stabbings occurred.
The press have been quick to highlight that his last two victims were men in Jewish orthodox apparel, but briefly mention (if at all) that Suleiman’s first victim was his friend of twenty years, Ishmail Hussein (a Muslim man).
Whether this is a genuine act of terror or a psychotic episode, we don’t yet know. But why let the clear consequences of a crumbling NHS get in the way of some good propaganda?
So you’re saying it had nothing to do with Iran, the Palestine movement, or the Green Party, but likely did have something to do with improper care from a failing NHS? Shocker https://t.co/YeCY1clqBh

London sees an average of 40 knife crimes every day, and Muslims are subject to the highest amount of hate crime of any religious group in Britain. Yet it was this stabbing that Starmer called a COBRA meeting.
The blood hadn’t dried from the tarmac before arch-Zionist, Keir Starmer, rushed to press, blaming pro-Palestine slogans for the rise in antisemitism, and urging people to tattle on anyone they hear chanting them.
The Tories, Labour, and Reform have all cried in unison that the frequency of these marches has somehow developed a current of antisemitism in Britain, and therefore they must be banned!
This vomit, regurgitated by the press, doesn’t fool any of us. These marches have nothing to do with any rise in antisemitism, and these wretches know it.
These war criminals whinge and moan about the marches while using our taxes and our labour to aid Israel’s genocide. And when what’s left of the UK’s crumbling welfare states suffers for it, they blame Muslims and migrants.
The blood of the Palestinians – and of all the victims of racism and imperialism – is on their hands, not ours.
First as tragedy, then as farce
Keir Starmer and the British establishment has cynically whipped up an antisemitism crisis with a clear political target, the Green Party and its pro-Palestine leader Zack Polanski.
Polanski rightly condemned the way the attack was handled by the Met Police.
In a tweet he need not have apologised for, he correctly criticised the Met Police for continuing to “repeatedly and violently” kick the incapacitated Suleiman in the head. The Met Police chief subsequently broke his political neutrality to publicly rebuke Polanski, saying that the use of “extreme force” by his officers was “completely reasonable”.
British establishment figure making up claims about a left-wing leader a week before an election? 🤔 hmm… where have I heard that before? https://t.co/gffPRxc3Dw

Given these smears were a week before local elections in which the Green Party were expected to make huge gains, this all felt very similar to a previous left-wing political leader in Britain.
Marx remarked that history repeats itself first as tragedy, then as farce. In the 2010s, the British establishment carried out an outrageous smear campaign against Jeremy Corbyn, accusing him of being an antisemite and a terrorist sympathiser.
But whereas those slanders alongside the weakness of Corbyn’s response to them contributed to the failure of his leadership of the Labour Party, Polanski has come out fighting.

People have seen through such smears since the endless horror emerged from Palestine over the last two and a half years. That horror will not be wiped from anyone’s memory because the faces of that genocide in Britain are attempting to whip up hysteria about antisemitism.
Nobody committing this genocide has been arrested, yet the British state has used this smear to arrest and intimidate a swathe of Green Party members including an elected Green councilor in Lambeth.
To also state the obvious – Zack Polanski is Jewish. Reform councillors meanwhile receive no arrests or condemnation for calling for Nigerians to be melted down to fill pot holes!
Moreover a recent YouGov poll showed that while Green Party members are by far the most critical of Israel, it is Reform, Conservative, and Labour Party members who hold the most prejudices against Jewish people (and it is still only a minority who hold those prejudices).
Those who have genuine hope in the Green Party after years of being disappointed by the ‘left’ can easily see through this farce. Many have taken to social media to point out the absurd hypocrisy about the blatant slander Polanski is facing.

The irony is this cynical ‘two-tier policing’ and weaponising of antisemitism to defend the actions of Israel actually creates antisemitism and division. The real racists sit in parliament, people can see through the farce of their system.

Selective outrage, selective arrests
In the wake of the horrific stabbings in Golders Green on 29 April, Prime Minister Keir Starmer has seen fit to attempt to link the stabbing to the pro-Palestine marches saying “if you stand alongside people who say “globalise the intifada”, you are calling for terrorism against Jews and people who use that phrase should be prosecuted”.
This stabbing is now seemingly to be used for further immoral arrests of protestors and further stretching bans on British citizens’ right to free speech.
Despite what the British media’s narrative is, the proportion of religious hate crimes committed is highest against the Muslim community, making up 45 percent of all religious hate crimes by the UK government’s own statistics.
A clear rise of 19 percent in religious hate crimes perpetrated against Muslims occurred, incidentally, alongside the Southport murder – of whom the perpetrator, let’s remember, was a Christian.
In contrast, there has been hardly any pushback against the far-right protests and riots, largely being allowed to do as they please.
During Tommy Robinson’s ‘Unite the Kingdom’ rally, Reuters reported that only 23 arrests were made, despite demonstrators attacking counter-protestors, and 26 police officers being injured by the far-right thugs. In contrast the vast majority of the hundreds of pro-Palestine arrestees were engaged in peaceful demonstrations.
Equal rights demand equal treatment, not selective policing shaped by fear, politics, or convenience.
