
The attacks in Paris have aroused the revulsion and anger of millions of French workers and youth. The fear of new attacks is palpable. The French and international labour movement must respond by reviving the goal to end capitalism and its “horror without end.”

The events in Paris last week are a wholly reactionary attack against ordinary working people. The Marxists condemn the murderous gang which carried out these attacks and we express our solidarity with the people of Paris. The struggle against terrorism is a struggle against imperialism, and for socialism.

In the past couple of weeks, unprecedented events had been unfolding in Afghanistan, as hundreds of thousands of people protest in the streets of Kabul. This is the reflection of massive discontent with the neverending American occupation as well as with religious fundamentalism.
