With a humanitarian disaster already playing out in Gaza, and a mass movement in solidarity with Palestine building, western leaders are growing alarmed at the prospects of an Israeli invasion. They know they will have blood on their hands.

As the death count in Gaza soars, many leading left-wingers are calling for a ceasefire and for peace negotiations. But there can be no genuine end to Palestinian oppression under capitalism. That is why we say: Intifada until victory!

The imperialists fear that Israel’s war on Gaza will ignite the entire Middle East, with grave implications for the world situation. They are right to worry. The plans of the Americans lie in tatters and, with sparks flying in a region riven by economic instability and inter-imperialist tension, war and revolution impend.
