A young girl was brutally stabbed to death this week by one of her male peers. The scourge of violence against women is clearly worsening, encouraged by reactionary demagogues like Andrew Tate. Only revolutionary class struggle can end this disease.

Across the world, women’s freedoms are under attack. On the one hand, abortion rights are being eroded. On the other, those wanting children increasingly cannot afford to do so. Only under socialism will we truly be in control of our own lives.

Responding to reports of sexist practices and pay inequality in big business, liberal commentators have called for more women to be promoted to the top. But to end misogyny and discrimination, we need socialist revolution, not ‘girlboss feminism’.
