The Russian Revolution made enormous strides forward for women. Lenin and the Bolsheviks showed the way forward in ending all oppression. It is our task, as communists, to complete the struggle they started: the socialist transformation of society.

A young girl was brutally stabbed to death this week by one of her male peers. The scourge of violence against women is clearly worsening, encouraged by reactionary demagogues like Andrew Tate. Only revolutionary class struggle can end this disease.

Across the world, women’s freedoms are under attack. On the one hand, abortion rights are being eroded. On the other, those wanting children increasingly cannot afford to do so. Only under socialism will we truly be in control of our own lives.
