STRIKE IN SPAIN AND EUROPE (Portugal, Greece, Cyprus and Italy)
WE
ARE LEFT WITH NO FUTURE. THERE ARE CULPRITS, THERE ARE SOLUTIONS
Adjustment
policies that are sinking the
activity, destroying jobs and
creating a vicious circle from which exit is not a fact. That budget cuts just offset the increase
in interest on the debt at the
cost of seriously erode the
rights of citizenship. That all
this is done with social injustice and inequality–increasing state aid to
banks and not to the evicted
families. Over 500 evictions a day, causing a greater number of suicides.
Deterioration of
public education and health systems, leads to a system where the working class
will not have access to quality public services.
Deterioration of
democracy. People attending rallies are hit and accused of terrorism by the
Spanish government.
Because of this
we support the general strike in Spain. Because there are alternatives, because
policies have to be changed to a growing economy, and to the creation of jobs.
