Israel’s latest act of aggression against Iran has once again stirred the hypocritical chorus of warmongers in Westminster. The task of Communists is to expose the crimes of Netanyahu, Starmer, and British imperialism; and to fight for international socialism, starting at home.

Netanyahu is betting his political future on a regional conflagration — escalating the Gaza genocide into an all‑out war with Iran, dragging US imperialism along to save his skin. The Israeli PM now masks his genocidal ambitions behind ‘defence’ rhetoric and global powers have followed in tow. The working class must resist being dragged into capitalist bloodletting.

This Monday, the IDF seized a sailboat carrying aid to Gaza, and deported those on board including climate activist Greta Thunberg. This latest criminal act has once again exposed the western leaders’ hypocrisy, and has sparked to an outpouring of anger internationally.
