Counter-revolutionary protests have erupted onto the streets of Cuba, provoked by the deteriorating economic situation facing the country. Socialists must defend the Cuban revolution, oppose imperialism, and fight for workers’ democracy.

Despite the heroic efforts of the masses, the inspiring revolutionary movement against the military regime in Myanmar has reached an impasse. The task ahead is to build a revolutionary leadership armed with Marxist theory and a clear strategy.

The Tories’ welfare ‘reforms’ have intentionally robbed thousands with disabilities and long-term illnesses of crucial support. We need a system that treats the most vulnerable in society with compassion, not contempt.
