Dec 9th: Student day of action

On the 9th of December MPs will vote
on whether or not to burden our youth with massive debt and force
working class kids out of further education by removing their EMA.

This could be the biggest School and University Student demo in
British history. This is the day where we will stand up, arm in
arm with hundreds of thousands of students from across the country, and
say "We will not pay!" We will not pay for the bosses’ crisis with our
future! Higher education is a right, not a priveledge, and we demand
that right!

The NUS/UCU have called for students to lobby their MPs on the afternoon of the vote.

However, a demonstration will assemble outside ULU in Malet St, London at 1.00pm – other events in London and elsewhere will also be taking place on the day. We will post details as we get them.
