We are happy to announce that we are publishing Alan Wood’s series on the Russian Revolution on our Marxist Voice podcast for the first time.
This six-part series was originally produced in 2017 to mark the centenary of the Russian Revolution, the greatest event in human history.
Continuing on from part one, Alan discusses Lenin’s return to Russia and the need to theoretically rearm the Bolshevik leadership, which was in danger of taking an opportunist turn following the events of February.
Through the publishing of his April Theses, Lenin was able to wrest the party from the road taken by Kamenev and Stalin, putting it back onto the revolutionary path.
Keep your eyes peeled for next week’s episode, where we’ll hear about the rising unrest of the June Days.
