RCP anti-imperialist campaign: Get educated!

War is neither a result of mistake or madness — it is the continuation of politics by other means.

Today, war is fundamentally waged by imperialist powers in defence of the markets, spheres of influence, and profits of their multinational corporations.

Since the Second World War, there has been a total of 285 armed conflicts internationally. Well over 200 of these have been initiated by the world’s most powerful imperialist country, the USA.

The world market is shrinking, and the relative decline of US imperialism is allowing for smaller imperialist powers to flex their muscles; including Russia and China. Far from bringing stability to the world stage, this is ushering in a new era of militarism and conflict.

British imperialism is tied hand and foot to the US — its main trading partner. For this reason, Starmer, or any politician that defends capitalism, will toe the line of US imperialism; from the prolongation of the war in Ukraine, to the facilitation of genocide in Gaza.

Now is the time to develop and extend the movement against this parasitic militarism, which is sucking the life out of society to prop up the profits of British and US capitalists.
