Child sexual abuse, and the grooming gangs involved, have been dominating the news. Clearly, a catastrophic failure in safety for the victims has taken place.
Abuse, assault, and rape are unfortunately a feature of life, across all races, particularly for women.
This is because the oppression of women remains one of the oldest forms of oppression, which came about through the rise of class society. The violence women face has been interwoven with all cultural institutions, globally, for centuries.
To present these cases as reflective of the ‘nature’ of Pakistani men – as the Tories, Farage, and Musk are doing – is undeniably cheap, rancid racism. However, for bourgeois politicians and their friends in the media, there is political capital to be gained by sensationalising the story. They prey on people’s emotional instincts, and transform their fear into anger at immigrants.
The ten-year-old grooming gang scandal is being used to further entrench an ongoing culture war, which is being spearheaded by Nigel Farage, aimed at scapegoating immigrants.

They speak of alleged police corruption and cover up, and lament the lack of any social service that stepped in. Indeed, it paints a picture of complete depravity.
Those making the most noise about this scandal are in fact not the victims themselves, but the noble Elon Musk, billionaire owner of X; Andrew Tate, who has been accused of sex-trafficking and setting up an organised crime group to sexually exploit women; and Suella Braverman, ardent defender of Israel and the IDF, who have engaged in rape and sexual violence against Palestinian prisoners.
The man who has suddenly taken a strong stance against rape, is post boosting a man charged with rape and human trafficking in two countries.

To join this sparkling team we also have Nigel Farage and Reform UK, GB News, and other right-wing institutions and individuals. The outrageous hypocrisy, faux concern, and self-righteousness is nauseating.
According to their recent statements, one might think these people are champions of women’s safety. None of them have done anything to help the victims of abuse in these cases.
In fact, these people benefit from the oppression of women, as capitalism and its defenders always have.
They create the environment for this oppression through the media and cultural institutions. Their austerity cuts the services designed to help victims of abuse. And then they have the audacity to blame Pakistani men, as the inherent cause of the problem.
They are hypocrites and liars.
Where does this come from?
The most superficial glance at the British establishment – from Prince Andrew’s vile parties with underage women, to the Archbishop of Canterbury covering up decades of child abuse, to Jimmy Savile’s infamous legacy – shows you that they are the biggest grooming gang in Britain.
And it is their class that promotes the ideas that then cause misery in the lives of young women.
The truth is, for the super rich, the friends of Epstein, Saville, Al-Fayed, Weinstein, and the establishment, sex is simply another commodity to be bought. Everyone knows this.
Since the #MeToo movement, there has been a series of revelations about celebrities, politicians, and well-known individuals being unveiled as abusive in some form.
In every example, it appears the institutions around these high-profile abusers – whether it be the BBC or the Church – played a role in providing cover for their behaviour.
Why? Because most of these institutions play a direct role in shaping the culture which foments such conduct. In addition, they feel compelled to protect their own people and image.
In fact, when allegations against comedian Russell Brand or film producer Harvey Weinstein surfaced, it appeared everyone in the industry had always known what was going on.
Farage, Musk, and Tommy Robinson try to present violence and abuse as the result of one group in society – in this case Pakistani men. But the truth is it begins at the very top and percolates down.
It goes beyond one TV channel, or one individual. The dominant ideas in society are those of the ruling class as a whole.
They promote, and have done for decades, the most vulgar, putrid and distorted ideas around sex and women through their media, in particular the sexualisation of young women. The sexualisation of teenage girls has been prominent in British tabloids such as Page 3 in The Sun.
The objectification of women has existed in many different forms throughout class society across all cultures, and is made profitable under capitalism. This, in turn, impacts our psychology and creates a permanent vicious cycle.
This is because in class society, women are oppressed and have traditionally been stuck in the home. Private property and power have been in the hands of men. In fact, women have been the private property of men. This is the root of the widespread abuse of women in society.
Varying degrees of objectification are reflected in the content we view on social media, all of which is owned by billionaires.
Since Elon Musk took over X, it has become a cesspit of pornography, which overwhelmingly degrades women in its content, and negatively shapes the way young people learn about sex.
Is Elon Musk truly an authority on protecting young people from harm? Or what he has declared to be the ‘mass rape’ culture in Britain?
He happily promotes, for example, Donald Trump. Trump has made no secret of his perception of women as sexual objects. “Grab them by the pussy” being only one of his infamous quotes.
We can go deeper. Trump has long been a fan and promoter of beauty pageants, where young girls dress up in makeup, outfits, and perform dances for onlookers. Trump has boasted about walking into the changing rooms to look at half naked teenage girls.
There are endless examples.
When Farage says Starmer and the establishment are covering up grooming gangs, he connects with ordinary working-class people, because in a distorted way it is true.
The increased number of allegations of sexual harassment in the House of Commons led to a new independent scheme being set up to investigate. MPs have been caught watching porn in parliament.
A special mention must be given to the Bullingdon Club. This exclusive Oxford University society proudly held debaucherous sex parties for future prime ministers such as Boris Johnson and David Cameron.
Yes, it could be said grooming, sexual exploitation, and the oppression of women is a feature of British society – and it comes straight from the top. We cannot trust any section of the ruling class to treat this seriously. Instead they use it for political point-scoring.
The culture war continues
Nigel Farage is claiming Reform will lead an inquiry into the scandal if Starmer refuses. He hopes to use this to cement his position as the ‘anti-establishment’ candidate.
He may well gain some ground. In the absence of a clear left alternative, particularly in periods of economic crisis such as this one, racist ideas will appear as a solution to some workers.
Starmer is, as usual, totally clueless. He now finds himself trying to main his distance from a vicious, racist culture war that he himself has helped to foster over the years. Nigel Farage is using every social malady he finds and linking it to the question of immigration. Starmer has nothing to say, and so Farage gains.
The culture war is effective because there is a genuine fear in millions of ordinary households: fear at the collapse of the NHS, inflation, falling living standards, debt, and the coming winter months.
There is an enormous political vacuum in Britain, and others are catching up and noticing – including, incredibly, the arch-misogynist Andrew Tate, who has declared a new political party, in part to stand up to establishment paedophiles!
There are currently zero political parties which are BRAVE enough to address the issues facing the UK.
They are all weak and afraid of the media.
NONE of them put them on blast like I do.
THEY ALL COWAR INFRONT OF BBC.
I DO NOT COWAR INFRONT OF PEDOPHILES.
I WILL BE…
— Andrew Tate (@Cobratate) January 6, 2025
As ludicrous as it seems, this reflects a glaring issue: in Britain, as elsewhere, there is a deep loathing and class anger towards the establishment that finds no genuine expression.
It comes down to the crisis of capitalism, which is decimating lives and causing alienation.
Those claiming to be interested in defending young girls and women are liars. They have no desire to understand where this comes from – otherwise they would start by looking in the mirror.
We are trapped in a dying system; a rotting corpse that continues to emit rancid bile and poison into the world as it decays.
But this putrid system will not die alone. Horrors such as rape, abuse, and paedophilia can only be smashed through a fundamental, revolutionary upheaval of the alienated, cynical, and insecure society we live in.
