Was held in Brighton the other week, where there were some fine
speeches and rabble rousing, but ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS
‘LENNY’!
let’s see what occurs in the coming months; however we know it’s down
to the Rank and File to hold the bureaucrats to account by keeping the
pressure on from below, just as the sparks have for nearly a year now.
has stood outside Fiddlers Ferry every week for 3 years and kept

A commons select committee is on the case. Also, well done to Dave
smith Blacklisting Support Group [BSG], a high court case looks like
it’s going ahead. If you have been blacklisted by Robert Mcalpine
contact BSG. We need as much info on them before high court case starts.
The observer may be doing article on them so any info would be useful.

officers 17th July to plan some action against them.
House are definitely up for BESNA MK 2 so let’s hit them where it hurts
mass pickets on their sites. Spread the word that if there’s a Crown
House site near you get yourselves together and stop production we’ve

Talks are ongoing with a pay offer of 1% this year and 1.5% next year,

banksters!
Jason at Ratcliffe has been laid off; the matrix went out the window
for Jason and it all smacks of victimisation to us. We may be calling on
the Rank and File again after the last tremendous effort at Ratcliffe.
On a few sites now Rank and File stewards are being elected. Runcorn
power station and Cross Rail London to name just two. We don’t do
appointments!
This went well despite Bernard ‘moving forward’ MacAulay’s pleading to
‘hold back’ until he had spoken to the bosses. We strike while the iron’s
hot - Bernie, we can’t wait till January 2013 the job would be finished
by then.
‘Rank and File’ construction workers were present on the demos, where 3
were arrested by PC plod, who completely lost the plot by punching and
lashing out at protestors. Seems to be par for the course these days.
To fellow Greek and Spanish workers who are showing the way forward in
Europe. We must do the same! We have nothing to lose but our chains!
