FIRST OF all, I want to thank all those who contributed towards our Xmas FF drive. The target was £6,000 and we came mighty close with £5,700. There are a few pledges still outstanding so if these could be redeemed as soon as possible that would be great. But the fight doesn’t stop here – we need to keep the cash coming in. The government is hard at work trying to give as much cash to the bankers as possible to ensure that those at the top can still receive their massive bonuses and perks. Meanwhile one financial wizard after another is being exposed as nothing more than a fraudster, taking millions of pounds or dollars and investing it… in their back pocket. Seems like the best thing for workers to do now is to invest instead in a socialist future. Our return on your donation will be far more long lasting than anything capitalism can rustle up. Even a small donation will help us spread the message of Marxism – after all it was Karl Marx who was able to explain the nature of capitalist crisis with far more clarity 150 years ago than all those bank economists were able to do 150 days ago.
Donations can be made online by going to www.wellred.marxist.com . You can also go into any branch of Abbey and pay over the counter to us via account K2018479SOC in the name of SASC. Donations can also be made by post (again make cheques payable to SASC) by sending them to us at PO Box 50525, Poplar, London, E14 6WG. So why not make that investment in socialism and send us what you can without delay – be it £1, £20 or £200. It all counts.
