After years of harassment from the Labour right wing, the local council, and the Tory press, left-wing MP Apsana Begum has been acquitted of all the trumped-up charges levelled at her. Now it is time for her opponents to face justice.

Labour is in a parlous financial state, due to the rightwards shift undertaken by Starmer, and the resultant exodus of members. The right wing are destroying the party, as they seek to appease the establishment. They must be shown the door.

For decades, militant trade union activists have been targeted by the bosses. Now Marxists in the Labour Party will face similar victimisation, as part of Starmer’s purge. The scourge of blacklisting must be fought across the labour movement.

Labour’s right-wing dominated NEC has ruled that all candidate selections in the city of Liverpool will come under the control of the national party. This attack on grassroots democracy must be resisted by the whole left of the party.

Labour have scraped to victory in the Batley & Spen by-election. The right wing have spun this as a major win. In reality, it is a humiliating result. Under Starmer, the party is heading for disaster. We need a new leadership. Starmer out!
