Ted Grant was the founder and leading theoretician of the Militant Tendency and later of Socialist Appeal. Ted kept the ideas of Marx, Engels, Lenin, and Trotsky alive after the collapse of the Fourth International, and made important contributions and developments with his writings on the post-war boom, Stalinism, and the Colonial Revolutions.
Alan Woods, a leading figure of the International Marxist Tendency (IMT) and Socialist Appeal – and lifetime collaborator and friend of Ted Grant – will be presenting the biography, discussing the life of Ted Grant and his role and involvement in the world socialist movement.

The meeting will start at 19:00 in UCL, Pearson Building, G22 LT.
This will be followed by a social at 21:00 in UCL’s Jeremy Bentham Room.
